2. Russian Vowels. The Vowel Ы


There are 6 vowels in Russian language, they are represented by 10 letters.
Russian vowels are divided into two basic types: so called «soft-indicating» and «hard-indicating», because they indicate whether the preceding consonant is “hard” or “soft”.

In today’s lesson we’ll learn Russian vowels:
А, И, О, У, Ы, Э
