In these Terms and Conditions, references to “we” or “us” are to Time to Speak Russian team - which consists of three people – Anna Petanova, Yulia Kovalenko, Olga Karpeko. We are self-employed and don’t have a separate admin team, so all the communication happens directly with us via   photo of an info email .

In these Terms and Conditions, references to “you” or “your” are references to you whether as a Learner or Visitor.

You can use the material only for teaching and share them only with your own students. You must give an appropriate credit to the autors and if you edit or modify the material, it should be made clear to the students.

Conditions of sale:

By placing an order with Time to Speak Russian shop, you agree with the following conditions.

  • When you place an order to purchase a product you will be accepting these conditions of sale, the prices and product descriptions.
  • When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order and the link for downloading the material.
  • Usually, the material you bought will be available to download for 3 days since the purchase and you will have 3 attemps to download it.
  • Prices are shown in dollars USD.
  • Payments can be made through Paypal and Stripe. If you can’t use these methods, please contact us.
  • Returns, exchanges and refunds are not possible for electronic products and services (lessons, PDFs), except in the case of error made by Time to Speak Russian or an agreement with a teacher.
  • Personal details that you provide when placing an order will be only used with the purpose of being able to process your order and payment. See our Privacy Policy.
  • When you buy a PDF product from us - you are diverted to SendOwl service and so should refer to their own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy for details of how your personal information is dealt with.
  • Payments are processed via Paypal or Stripe, which are secure methods of processing your personal information. We are not storing your details that you give to them. See their policies: Stripe and PayPal.

This is the Privacy policy for the Time to Speak Russian website (“the/our website”) created and managed by a small team – Anna Petanova, Yulia Kovalenko, Olga Karpeko – that you can contact via   photo of an info email .

This policy explains what type of information we collect from you and what we do with it. By visiting our website you agree to the terms and conditions of our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change this policy from time to time to keep it relevant.

We can reassure you that we take protecting your privacy when you visit our site, subscribe to our newsletter or make a purshase from our site, very seriously. We do not sell, trade or rent any personal information and we share your personal information only to improve your user experience or if required by law.

Where this policy is translated into a language other than English, in the event of any dispute arising with respect to its interpretation, the English language version shall prevail.


You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect only the names of subscribers to our newsletter and their email addresses. We also record your name and contact information if you write to us directly while sending a feedback or an equiry in order to provide you with requested information.

For processing card payments made via our website, we pass your order details to the SendOwl e-commerce platform to enable them to complete the transaction. SendOwl is a UK based company that will store some of your details as a reference against your transaction in case we need to process a refund or provide support, and for fraud prevention purposes. SendOwl uses Stripe or PayPal to process your payment.

On our behalf, SendOwl receives information such as your first name, last name, e-mail address and other personal and/ or contact details if needed.

We use the SendPulse mailing list service provider for managing our email communications with you, e.g. when subscribe to our newsletter. As a result, we send your first name, last name and email adress to SendPulse where the data may be stored and processed on one of their servers. SendPulse is an Ukraine based company. SendPulse’s Privacy Policy is governed by its US based subsidiary in New York.

When you visit our website, we may also collect information from you automatically through cookies or similar technology.

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behaviour information, they help making a user’s experience more efficient.

Our website uses different types of cookies. Some cookies are placed by third party services that appear on our pages (mostly YouTube).

We’ll keep your data untill you decide to delete it or unsubscribe from our newsletter.
